Bengals vs Ravens – Live Stream Online Free NFL.Time.TV channel,The Baltimore Ravens and Cincinnati Bengals battle for first place in the AFC North on Thursday night.
Porter got down in last Saturday’s bout against former champion Garcia. Porter’s plan to attack the body, box at times and force Garcia to engage worked according to plan.
“I knew I would be able to outbox him and I knew I’d be able to hit and not get hit,” said Porter, who is trained by his father, Kenny. “There were a few times I knew not to come up, and the hook and right hand was right there for me. I was prepared for what he was going to do all night. It all showed up.”
Saturday’s rematch between Canelo Alvarez and Gennady Golovkin has all of the makings of a classic bout based on what we saw in the first encounter and because of the bad blood that’s brewed since they last met.Alvarez tested positive for trace amounts of the banned substance clenbuterol and blamed the result on contaminated meat in Mexico. The rematch was originally scheduled for May, but Alvarez was suspended because he tested positive. And Triple G spent those months accusing Alvarez of not telling the truth about using steroids.
Of course Alvarez adamantly took offense to Triple G’s accusations which has made the pre-fight hype even more personal between the two fighters. That makes Saturday’s fight at 10:30 p.m. on HBO’s pay-per-view even more intriguing. It’s a fight where the perceived hatred between the two fighters could add spice to an already anticipated action bout.In the first bout, Alvarez ran out of gas in the middle rounds, and it likely cost him the fight, which ended in a draw. This time the smaller fighter will take advantage of his size and out-quick and out-hit the more natural middleweight in Triple G.
Triple G will certainly try to prove a point in an attempt to knock out Alvarez, but that will be a mistake. Alvarez will take advantage of the in-coming Golovkin with combinations. The Bengals and Ravens are sitting at the top of the AFC North after the Steelers and Browns couldn’t decide a winner after overtime.
The good news is history seems to be on the Bengals side in this matchup. Cincinnati has won seven of the last nine games against Baltimore, but the dreaded prime time game-time slot that the Bengals struggle with could even the playing field. The Ravens are coming off a laughable game against the Bills to open the season. They easily strolled to a 47-3 victory in a game that never felt like Bills got out of preseason mode. Then again, the Ravens have a habit of starting out the season strong. Last year, they shut out the Bengals 20-0 in a game Andy Dalton probably doesn’t remember all that well after getting sacked five times.
This is a new Bengals team, though. They are fresh off a come from behind win against the Colts. After Indianapolis took a 23-10 lead the Bengals responded with 24 straight points, which included an 83-yard fumble recovery for a touchdown by safety Clayton Fejedelem to seal the game.
Joe Mixon was one of the biggest stars as he surpassed 100 yards from scrimmage while also adding a touchdown. He looked unstoppable most of the day, and the is some the Bengals will hope he can repeat Thursday night. After both teams picked up victories in their respective Week 1 matchups, the Baltimore Ravens and Cincinnati Bengals will square off on Thursday night at Paul Brown Stadium. With their all-time series record knotted at 22-22, Thursday night’s winner will take the all-time series advantage.
The Bengals have won two of their past three meetings against the Ravens, but Baltimore won the last game in Cincinnati in Week 1 of the 2018 NFL season is in the books, which means it’s time for the first real “Thursday Night Football” game of the season. Yes, the Philadelphia Eagles and Atlanta Falcons duked it out to open the season last Thursday, but this will be the first game of the season that pits two teams coming off limited rest against one another. And the Baltimore Ravens and Cincinnati Bengals are the unlucky contestants. Baltimore hammered the hapless Buffalo Bills in Week 1, while the Bengals overcame the Andrew Luck-led Indianapolis Colts to improve to 1-0. Despite both teams’ quality showings last Sunday, Paul Brown Stadium likely will be the site of the normal sloppy affair we’re sued to seeing on Thursday night. The Ravens kick off their 2018 season Sunday vs. the Buffalo Bills with a breath of fresh air around the team.
Joe Flacco has had his healthiest training camp in years with a core of new receivers to throw to and two rookie tight ends. They have two reliable backup options at quarterback in Lamar Jackson and Robert Griffin III, and six-time Pro Bowl guard Marshal Yanda back after missing most of the 2017 season with an ankle injury.
The Bills’ offense has gone through quite a change as well. They shipped quarterback Tyrod Taylor to the Cleveland Browns, traded AJ McCarron to the Oakland Raiders and are giving their Week 1 start to Nathan Peterman, who played in just two games in 2017.
Running back LeSean McCoy will be active on Sunday. He is currently involved in an open investigation stemming from a home invasion that left his ex-girlfriend injured. During the 2017 season, the six-time Pro Bowler had 287 rush attempts for 1,138 yards and six touchdowns. Beside McCoy, the Bills offense doesn’t have a ton to write home about, something the Ravens defense will be looking to take advantage of.
The Ravens defense is expected to continue its trend of being one of the most dominate forces in the league under new defensive coordinator Don ‘Wink’ Martindale. The Big Three – comprised of Terrell Sugg, Eric Weddle and C.J. Mosley – will be allowed to rely on their defensive instincts a lot more in real time, while cornerback Marlon Humphrey will build off his successful rookie season taking over the first-team role for suspended Jimmy Smith.
The Bills defense will be taking on a heavier load as it knows it will need to carry the team until the offense takes shape.
“Our goal is always to win and to do that you have to take the ball away,” linebacker Lorenzo Alexander said via the team’s website. “We want to be a top five defense. We want to be the leaders of this team as far as giving our offense advantageous field position, short fields. The main reason why is because we understand we’re going to have a young quarterback in terms of experience. So, we need to help the offense out as much as we can.”
Cornerback Maurice Canady and linebacker Kenny Young are listed as questionable for Sunday’s game. Tight end Hayden Hurst and defensive tackle Willie Henry are ruled out.
Bills wide receiver Ray-Ray McCloud is ruled out for Sunday’s matchup and linebacker Julian Stanford is questionable.
